top 10 fav enstars songs of 2025
Happy Valentine's day! I've been thinking something was off lately then I remembered that I did not make my Top 10 Fav Enstars Songs of 2025 list... And I thought "You know what... I can make it and post it to Dreamwidth!!"
2025 was a big year for Enstars because it was the 10 year anniversary. Also exciting for me personally was that my fav unit Eden had not just one but two releases! But this was also the year that I deleted Enstars Music off my phone because the 10 year anniversary update made the game borderline unplayable on my device. Get a new phone, you say? HAHAHAHA! No. So I've been mobage-free for like half a year...
Makes me a bit sad to not play the game anymore but my favourite thing about this series is the music and I still love buying the CDs... THE MUSIC IS WHAT MATTERS!! So without further ado, let's get into my top 10.
DISCLAIMER: These are my personal views and opinions, please don't get sad if you don't see your fav 2025 Enstars song! I had a hard time narrowing this list down to be honest.
10) Heart Collector by Knights
Knights is a group that consistently delivers the most unbelievably catchy tunes and "Heart Collector" is no exception. There's something retro about it that I really love and you can easily see this song being the ending song to an amazing shoujo anime. Great song, great dance, great costumes. Giving Arashi that blush at parts of the MV also really adds something special.
9) LOCK YOUR GAZE by MODE/D
Let's all say thank you to MODE/D for giving us this club banger. This song highkey gives me E-girls vibes? The level of midriff these men show is, quite frankly, insane and I appreciate it. Also I find it funny that this is a dance-focused group and yet they have Hiyori, someone I consider more a vocalist? I don't know. That's just my personal opinion. I guess this is proof that guy can do anything. 1:08 where the lights turn pink and he gives us a sexy little dance is the highlight of this MV. Let's all say thank you to Hiyori.
8) Graceful Punishment by Cascade of...
This was a "no duh" pick. I mean, look at the members? Izumi Sena? Nagisa Ran? And we got Rei Sakuma delivering some over-the-top monologue before the song starts?! I'M THERE!! Anyways, I love the claw hands throughout the performance and the finger movements at 1:51 while singing "tu la tu la". What does "tu la" even mean? I genuinely don't care. "Graceful Punishment" is a sexy song and the members all look great. The fire and chains, man! I have 0 complaints!
7) 大いなる愛の前に全ては巡り来る by Eden
I mentioned Eden had 2 releases this year so you can bet your ass they're on this list twice. Do you hear that harmonizing? That's not an angel choir... That is Eden. This song really just teleports you straight into Eden's world. That's something they're really good at and nearly all their songs build on their "mythology". Jun's solo from 1:35 is jaw-dropping. This song only solidifies why Eden is canonically a top idol group. They sound amazing together. I love their harmonies so much? I dunno man. Yeah I'm biased but... Eden never misses and they remain CosPro's crown jewel.
6) Deep into you by Neptu
I love this song. I really do. But the only reason it's not higher on my top 10 is because I didn't feel like there was enough Tsumugi. Sorry for the bias but... I'm allowed to have a bias. He's so sexy with his new haircut that I wanted to see more of him, okay! I suspect it's because there are so many members in this group that it's kind of hard to give everyone a stand-out moment. And that's fine. Despite my complaining, this song is really good and it's a treat to have Tsumugi singing something that exudes hotness. This was my song of the summer!
5) メランコリーを駆け抜けろ♥ by Special for Princess!
Can I say something? I support these boys and I want them to succeed. They were the most exciting thing to come out of Enstars in 2024 and I love that this song has as much sickly-sweet dark-cute energy as "しょーがいゼッタイそーあい宣言♥". The fairytale/carnival vibes and the magical boy costumes are exquisite. And what I love about Special for Princess! is that there's something a bit twisted about them but it's never too overt. These four are so charming to watch and I hope they give us more in 2026! I'M ROOTING FOR THEM!!!
4) 君恋志願 by 瑠璃茉莉
With these little write-ups about my top songs, I try not to just devolve into talking about my favourite character and why I love them but... bear with me. I love Mayoi and he's my favourite dancer in the series. He has a very unique and expressive way of moving that always catches my eye and you really get to see it in this MV. I love when he does his dramatic lean back and I love when he spreads his arms out like a bird. I love Mayoi. I love his voice. I LOVE HIM AND I LOVE THAT HE GOT TO BE SO GORGEOUS IN A STUNNING COSTUME IN THIS BEAUTIFUL VIDEO.
3) Wanderlust Sailing by UNDEAD
I generally don't like when UNDEAD stray from their gothic rock image... but I admit defeat. This song is incredibly catchy and Kaoru looks amazing as a pirate. I long to be in the crowd so I too can chant "YO HEAVE HO! YO HEAVE HO! DON'T BE AFRAID! YAR HAR FIDDLE DE DEE!!" Also UNDEAD is not a "dance" unit but the dance they do in this song while pointing their guns is mesmerizing. Also I quite simply love songs where the four of them shout in unison. It's so hype? This is a HOT ROCK BANGER.
2) LOUDEST BUGS by 紅月
I'm honestly not sure what to say. This is THE most electrifying MV I have ever seen from Akatsuki. Like... I had no idea they were capable of this kind of energy? I do NOT mean they're usually boring but this MV is just so unlike anything I've seen from this group. Not just the song itself but the dancing and the actual performance is so fresh and exciting. I genuinely love everything about it. The frantic beat, the styling, the strange and gorgeous stage! Everyone served and I'm obsessed with the butterfly wings on the lower half of the costumes.
1) 円環のRefraction by Eden
I once again state that I'm biased but err... Hello? This is MY top 10 list and 2025 was the year of the snake. So I have no choice but to hand the crown to the Enstars king of serpents himself: Ibara Saegusa. This is one of those MVs I can write a 2000-word essay about but I'm going to try not to do that. Because the Ibara-centred "Melting Rouge Soul" released in 2023, I was not expecting another Ibara song for a very long time. "円環のRefraction" took me by complete surprise!
I love that while "大いなる愛の前に全ては巡り来る" embodies what I call "heavenly Eden" (songs like "Deep Eclipse" or "KEEP OUT"), "Refraction" is more a darker counterpart of "EXCEED". There's nothing heavenly about "Refraction". It's a song about ambition and defiance. The MV throws back the curtain and reveals Ibara as the true general of Eden with the other 3 members kneeling before him...
I don't know. There's so much to love in this video. Ibara's evil expressions, the hip thrusting, Ibara encircling Jun out of nowhere, Ibara stroking Nagisa's nipple with a stick... I'm not making this up. Watch it for yourself. This video made me feel so spoiled and happy to be an Ibara fan. He gave us everything and more. Thank you vice prez. THANK YOU. I LOVE YOU AND I'LL FOLLOW YOU INTO HELL!!! SALUTE!!!!!!!!!!

I actually had so much fun writing this post. Turns out I love blabbing about Enstars MVs but never really had a place where I could. Also, looking over this list, I'm shocked at how often Hiyori shows up in my top songs. He does carry an X-factor, not just with his distinctive voice but also with his magnetic stage presence. How do you improve an Enstars song? Add Hiyori. II HIYORI!!
